Psalms

Treated in 1186 passages across the library.

The hymnbook and prayer book of Israel: one hundred and fifty songs, many attributed to David, others to Asaph, the sons of Korah, Moses and Solomon. They give voice to praise and lament, confession and trust, thanksgiving and longing for God. Christian writers have prayed and preached them more than any other book, and treasured such psalms as the 23rd, the 51st, the 91st and the 119th.
