Mark
Treated in 424 passages across the library.
The shortest Gospel, traditionally attributed to John Mark, a companion of Peter. Brisk and vivid, it moves quickly from one deed of Jesus to the next, showing Him as the Son of God who came "not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many." Nearly a third of the book is given to the last week of His life, His death and resurrection.
