2 Thessalonians
Treated in 94 passages across the library.
Paul's second letter to Thessalonica, written to correct the idea that the day of the Lord had already come. He encourages them under persecution with the justice of God, describes events that must come first, including the man of sin, and rebukes those who had stopped working, saying that "if any would not work, neither should he eat."

- 1:8 in a blaze of fire, bringing punishment on those who do not know God and on those who refuse to obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. 5
