Genesis
Treated in 420 passages across the library.
The first book of the Bible, traditionally attributed to Moses. Genesis tells of the creation of the world, the fall of humanity in Adam and Eve, the flood in Noah's day and the tower of Babel, then follows God's covenant with Abraham and its passing to Isaac, Jacob and Joseph. It closes with Jacob's family settled in Egypt, carrying the promise that through Abraham's seed all nations will be blessed.
