1 Corinthians

Treated in 765 passages across the library.

Paul's letter to the church he had planted at Corinth, a gifted but divided and worldly congregation. He addresses factions, immorality, lawsuits, marriage, food offered to idols, the Lord's Supper and spiritual gifts, answering each from the cross of Christ. It contains the great chapter on love and the fullest New Testament teaching on the resurrection of the body.
