Acts
Treated in 737 passages across the library.
The second volume of Luke's work, telling how the gospel spread from Jerusalem to Rome. It begins with the ascension and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, follows Peter and the church in Jerusalem, the death of Stephen and the conversion of Saul, and then traces Paul's missionary journeys. The classics return to it constantly as the pattern of Spirit-filled life and witness.
