How to Succeed in the Christian Life
R. A. Torrey · 1856–1928
About this book
A plain guide for the young convert, written because Torrey looked for such a book to put into a new believer's hands and, finding none, wrote one himself. It takes up beginning right, the open confession of Christ, assurance of salvation, receiving the Holy Spirit, Bible study, prayer, working for Christ, and standing through persecution.
There is nothing more important in the Christian life than beginning right. If we begin right we can go on right. If we begin wrong the whole life that follows is likely to be wrong. If any one who reads these pages has begun wrong, it is a very simple matter to begin over again and begin right.
