Conclusion: You’re Planted — Keep Growing

You did it! Thirty days. Take a moment to look back at how far you’ve come.

You learned that God is bigger than the stars, perfectly holy, full of love and never changing. You learned the best news ever: that even though sin broke our friendship with God, Jesus came, died on the cross for us and rose again, so that anyone who trusts Him is forgiven and made new. You learned who you are: made on purpose, a child of God, forgiven, never alone. You learned to talk with God as your Father. And you learned how to grow deep through the Bible, obeying, church and worship.

That’s a lot of roots!

But here’s the thing about roots: they never stop growing. A tree doesn’t say, “Well, I’ve grown enough. I’m done now.” As long as it’s alive, it keeps reaching deeper. And that’s how it is with you and God. These 30 days weren’t a finish line. They were a starting line.

Remember the verse from Day 30?

“He is like a tree planted by the waters that sends out its roots toward the stream. It does not fear when the heat comes, and its leaves are always green.”

— Jeremiah 17:8 (BSB)

That’s you when you trust God. The heat will come someday: a hard year, a lost friendship, a scary change. But a tree by the water doesn’t have to be afraid. Its roots are already reaching toward the stream.

If you haven’t trusted Jesus yet

Maybe you read about the cross and the empty tomb, and you’ve been thinking about it but haven’t trusted Jesus yet. You don’t have to wait. You can talk to God right now, in your own words or something like this:

Dear God, I know I have sinned, and I’m sorry. I believe Jesus died on the cross for my sins and rose again. I want to trust Him as my Savior and follow Him as my Lord. Thank You for forgiving me and making me Your child. Amen.

If you prayed that, tell someone! Tell a parent, a pastor or a Christian friend. They’ll want to celebrate with you and help you grow.

What’s next

In Book 2, you’ll get to know Jesus up close. You’ll walk with Him from the manger in Bethlehem to the empty tomb, watching Him calm storms, feed thousands with one boy’s lunch and welcome children when no one else had time for them. You’ll even meet Jesus when He was twelve years old.

Until then, keep reading your Bible, keep talking to God and keep growing.

May the LORD bless you and keep you;
may the LORD cause His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you;
may the LORD lift up His countenance toward you and give you peace.
— Numbers 6:24–26 (BSB)
