"Moreover, it is required in stewards that one be found faithful." — 1 Corinthians 4:2

God's View of Stewardship

A steward is someone who manages what belongs to someone else. Everything we have, including time, money, intelligence, health, and talents, belongs to God. He entrusts these things to us to use wisely for His glory.

"The earth is the Lord's, and everything in it." — Psalm 24:1

Managing Time Wisely

Time is more precious than gold. Each day is like a deposit from God. How you spend it determines your future. When you waste time, you waste opportunity.

Build practical habits such as waking early and starting with prayer, using a notebook or schedule, reviewing your goals each week, avoiding procrastination and unnecessary phone use, and resting properly. God designed rest for renewal.

"There is a time for everything." — Ecclesiastes 3:1

Managing Money

Even small amounts of pocket money are a test of stewardship. Learn to divide what you receive into three parts. Give a portion for God's work or for helping others. Save a portion, since even small savings grow with time. And spend wisely on what you truly need, not on what will simply impress others.

"The wise store up choice food and olive oil, but fools gulp theirs down." — Proverbs 21:20

Avoid envy and debt. If you learn to manage faithfully the little you have now, God can trust you with more.

Managing Talents

God created everyone with gifts. Some people have the gift of teaching, others of leading, music, repairing things, organising, inventing, caring, or encouraging. Your talent is your tool for impact. But gifts grow through practice, humility, and service.

"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others." — 1 Peter 4:10

Do not bury your gift in fear or laziness. Use it, share it, and God will multiply it.

Prayer

Father, make me a wise steward. Teach me to value time, use money wisely, and develop my talents to serve You. Help me to live with excellence and gratitude. Amen.
